Email: aiglesi@tulane.edu | Dr. Ana Iglesias holds a PhD in business administration from Georgia State University, an MBA from Mackenzie Presbyterian University and a BS in Computer Science from Paulista University, Brazil.
Her research interests include competitive dynamics and multimarket competition, strategic decision making under conditions of adversity and ambiguity, and top management teams. Her dissertation paper was nominated for the Strategic Management Society Best Conference Paper Award in 2008 and her dissertation was a finalist for the INFORMS (Institute for the Operations Research and Management Science) Dissertation Competition in 2009.
Before joining the Freeman School in July 2010, Dr. Iglesias taught the introductory management course for juniors and the capstone course for business majors at Georgia State University for five years. She is a member of the Academy of Management and the Strategic Management Society. Prior to beginning her academic career, Dr. Iglesias held management positions in consulting and banking for 10 years.
