Professor Lee's research interests include mobile applications, crowdfunding, and loyalty programs. He explores strategic decision makings on platforms for mobile applications in his dissertation. His work was awarded the ISMS Doctoral Dissertation Award, Shankar-Spiegel Best Dissertation Proposal Award, and WITS dissertation proposal award.
